Back when loading images was a computationally expensive thing to do this software was the only way to go. It is still an amazing piece of software - worth the money.

I'm a freelance photographer and I love acdsee. Although I have other industrial strength photograph enhancing software, I still use acdsee for red eye.

It strongest strength for me is the ability to organize my files. It has some great intelligent agents for mass renaming of files. It is fast as heck with large 10mb+ image files. I can create locked directories of work I don't want the kids to see. It has decent photograph enhancing filters. I don't know what I would do without acdsee.

I don't know what inspired me to submit this review. I guess it is because for me this is one sofware package that I truly enjoy.
