Note: This is Dish Network not DirectTV. I think you can get most of the free stuff without signing the 18 month contract. Make sure you ask, unless you intend to stick with Dish Network - then it is definitely worth it for all the free credit.

Doesn't mention that you have to rent alot of the equipment. Do you get the HD / DVR versions for the price of regular components?
